The School is affiliated to the Council of Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi and admits students in LKG to class – XII. Direct admission to class X and XII is not given. Only the transfer cases from ICSE school may be accepted. Minimum age for admission 3.5 years.

Subject of study for ICSE students:

English, Hindi, Punjabi, Mathematics, Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics), History, Geography Commercial Studies, Physical Education, Art and Craft, Music, Socially Useful Productive Work, Moral Science/Divinity and Computer Science are taught by well qualified and experienced academic staff.

Subjects of study for ISC students:

The school has started ISC classes w.e.f 2016 and provides Commerce and Humanities streams to its students. Hence the subjects available are- English, Hindi, Punjabi, Commerce, Accounts, Economics, Maths, Physical Education, History, Geography & Political Science.

The admission procedure is simple. We admit students from class LKG to XI. We do not admit students in Class X & XII. Parents/Guardians are welcome to visit the school after making an appointment to, see the layout, the environment and the facilities available on the campus. Parents seeking admission for their children need to register them online.

Click on the application form link along with the examination fee of Rs 1000 is to be submitted online.
The prospective student has to sit for a simple admission test to determine his capability. The test is conducted as per the general standard of the last class attended by the student. If the child is found satisfactory, then he along with his parents is required to have an interaction with the Principal. The test scheme is as follows:

  • Class LKG to UKG – No written test, oral interaction only.
  • Class I to V – English & Maths (1.5 hrs)
  • Class VI to XI – English, Maths & Science (2 hrs)

Parents must bring along the child’s last three years of academic records.
Those selected would need to complete the admission formalities and the payment of School dues thereafter.

  1. The School Management reserves the right of admission.
  2. Eligibility of a child will be ascertained by an entrance test and an interview.
  3. The examination fee is not refundable or transferable.
  4. The acceptance of the form for entrance test and fee by the School is no guarantee that the child will be admitted. The School is not obliged to admit any child. Admission is purely on merit.
  5. Re-admission of students is mandatory for Class 9 and Class 11. Admission shall be granted depending on numerous factors such as subjects selected, previous progress reports, discipline, activities and sports records of the child etc.
  6. The School does not admit new students in Class 10 and Class 12, being Board classes.
  7. Dagshai Public School is proud to declare that it has one of the best Teacher-Student ratios. The School invests a lot in its curriculum and in the learning process. Despite all the facilities given, if a student fails to come up to the School’s expectations, the School Management will be constrained to ask the student to leave.
  8. All newly admitted children will be on probation for one year. After the year-end
    evaluation, the School Management will decide if the child should continue in the School.Their decision on all these issues will be final and binding.

  2. Original Transfer Certificate from the previous school.
  3. Original mark sheet (with school seal) of the last examination passed, along with complete academic details of the previous three years.
  4. Birth Certificate in original, along with an attested colour photocopy.
  5. Two sets of the child’s medical history along with a copy of the vaccination record.
  6. Agreement, undertaking and indemnity on a Non-judicial stamp paper of ₹ 50/- as per specimen provided.
  7. Valid passport and Resident Permit in respect of Foreign and Non-Resident Indian
    Students.
  8. Letter certifying the identity of the persons who are authorized to collect the child from School along with their photographs and specimen signatures.
  9. Copy of Pan and Aadhar Card of Father, Mother and Child.
